About
Creative Meanderings
Hello hello! I'm Noelle Arzumanov, a self-taught artist based out of Seattle! You can find me at open mic, drawing at the local cafe, or planning my next little adventure. Opportunities for growth excite me and I am often looking for chances to expand my horizons. Creative Meanderings was born out of a passion for mindfulness, art, and imperfections. My business is my happy place and one day I will cultivate a sense of community there. It is my hope to help others achieve a little artistic freedom and shake off that perfectionism and self judgement.
People often ask me why my frogs are so angry. The truth is that I don’t have a good answer. The original design is based after the desert rain frog, a very tiny and rotund frog that looks grumpy and squeals a “war cry” when prompted. Just search for it on YouTube if you haven’t already seen the video, it’s worth it. There is a lot to be angry about, as much as there is to be appreciative for; these frogs strike that balance by channeling anger and the joy that comes from being so cute.
I grew up in a little town just North of Seattle running barefoot up and down the dirt path to my Grandparent’s house. Art has always been a part of my life. From going on nature walks with my Grandpa gathering inspiration to refuel our creative selves, to making youthful messes experimenting with new-to-me mediums. With their support I now go on life’s dirt paths, creative meanderings abound.
In addition to creating art, I also like to challenge artists in Creative Mindfulness Workshops, where we learn to sit with the discomfort of imperfection, through laughter, in a judgement-free space. These workshops are a culmination of my passions; art, community, and personal growth. It is my hope to one day create a community of creatives looking to question art blocks and relax into their artistic strengths.
I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to support me, give me input, trial the workshops, drive me around, watched my daughter... Thank you to everyone who has interacted with my platforms, it gives me encouragement to know you are seeing me. And a special thank you to my husband, for always believing in and supporting me no matter what. I couldn’t do this without you, honey.
Now it’s time for you to go about your own meandering path, be it hanging around here to explore or finding your joy outside the internet space. Thank you. 🖤
With gratitude,
Noelle Arzumanov
